BIPOC Open Mic
Bodies of Culture hosts monthly BIPOC Open Mics on every 2nd Thursday of the Month hosted by Melissa Ivey! Every open mic has a paid feature. Get to Manos Sagrados early to sign up at 6:30 PM beforehand! Shows last from 7-10 PM!
All My Relations Celebration, curated by BOC Board Member Helen Gover, and Bodies Of Culture was supported by New Music USA’s Organization Fund, with support in part from Fifth House Ensemble and legacy contributions to the New Music USA endowment. Mentorship Program
Launched in 2024, BOC’s Mentorship Program aims to facilitate connections between emerging young creatives and experienced BIPOC artists and industry professionals. The mentorship lasts for 6 months. Applications for 2025 open soon!

Summer Solstice Gathering
Taking place on June 22nd from 1-5 pm, the Summer Solstice Gathering aims to bring BIPOC vendors together for a bustling market hosted at the RiNo ArtPark! On top of local vendors, there will be food trucks, a youth Dream Flow session with DCI Tour in the library, Tai Chi in the grass with Apprentice of Peace, and music from Enmanuel Alexander's project Off the Cuff. This event is co-presented by BOC and Eye for Prevention.
